November 29, 2020 - Trnovacko Lake (Montenegrin: Trnovačko Jezero) is a lake in northern Montenegro, best known for its heart-like shape. Located at an altitude of 1517 meters, it is popular with local summer campers. It is 700 meters (2,300 ft) long and 400 meters (1,300 ft) wide, set amidst a "huge amphitheater of rocky peaks." The lake is drained from the Maglic, the Volujak, and the Bioc mountain ranges. The lake water has a deep green-blue color.
