"We are peacefully awaiting Sunday. We worked all year to have the advantage of the home court in the semifinal. In the meantime, we are expecting a packed hall. Is there pressure? Yes. To us, to them, to the referees... Whoever makes fewer mistakes will win," Džikić said.

The Budućnost Voli basketball team will play the match of the season on Sunday, reports Vijesti on March 30, 2018.

All they have accomplished so far will be determined within 40 minutes of the decisive semifinal match of the play-off ABA league.

In the eighth duel with Cedevita, they will fight for their first ABA league finals in the history of the club.

"We are peacefully waiting for Sunday. We have been working all year to have the advantage of the home court in the semifinal. In the meantime, we expect a full hall. Is there pressure? Yes. To us, to them, to the referees... Whoever makes fewer mistakes will win," said Džikić.

"We will try to enter the ABA League finals and fight for the title leading to the Euroleague."

The pressure is enormous, but it gives birth to the big teams and players. Whoever is calm and cold headed will reach the finals. Asked how his team looks, Džikić replied:

"I think they're okay. It's imperative not to burnout. I think they are aware, concentrated - there are no problems on this side," Džikić said.

The outer line is critical - Gordić, Gibson, and Ivanović.

"It is clear what our strength is - these three players. They will, on the other hand, try to shift the focus to other players. It's basketball," Džikić said.

"I do not know how the match will go and in what rhythm. A lot of it depends on the criteria. A lot of it depends on how much we focus on the attack. This applies both to them and us," Džikić said.

Much of the Cedevita game will depend on the individual performances of Cherry and Nicholas.

"Nicholas shows that he probably does mind that he isn't in the first five players of the championship. He deserves it by quality. For me, he is the strongest player in the ABA League - the strongest name, whatever you want," Džikić said.

"They have these players who can individually decide the match. Our job is to shift the focus of the attack on others," Džikić said.

A talented player is Kyle Landry who will help his teammates in the third match. Playing with and without the Canadian is not the same, says Džikić.

"He played the second game with pain. He will play again, and he’s training. He understands the moment, how important it is. He's a real professional. He is very clear about the weight of this game. He wants to help, he knows why he was brought to the club. He is aware of his importance to the team, " Džikić said.

Budućnost - Cedevita will play on Sunday from 19:00.
