The view of old terracotta rooftops in Medieval European cities is always charming. A large black cupola and two similar shaped bell towers of the St. Nicholas church from the early 20th-century show a remarkable contrast with the rest of the scene. The Orthodox gold crosses were gifted to the Pseudo-Byzantine style church by Russia. Today, St. Nicholas is the most important Orthodox church in the Kotor area.
