October 16, 2018 - The political scene in Montenegro failed to emerge from the shadow of the "state strike" after two years, which is why the opposition today seems powerless and the Montenegrin society indifferent. Two years after the election in which voters were afraid of a state overthrow, the ruling coalition holds the institution under strict control while national issues and aggressive political language are re-dominating the public scene.

October 13, 2018 - The Municipality of Herceg Novi has readily welcomed the tourist season, which was more than successful. In the pre-season (March, April and May) there were 35% more tourists in the town than in the previous year. Also, in the post-season (September and October), the good trend of guest visits continued. Thus, compared to last year, there was a growth of 40%, so in Herceg Novi currently, there are 6,073 tourists, of whom most are foreign tourists - 5,448 compared to 625 domestic tourists.

Montenegro is a country where key institutions are captured by the ruling coalition and where these institutions are the common servant of the ruling coalition rather than the independent systems, “Tivat’s Action” assessed.
