July 1, 2018 - From January 1st, 2020, traditional filament light bulbs will not be available on the market.

Classic light bulbs with a focal length of 100 W and greater will not be imported after July 1st, because then, the Eco-design Requirements for Unscaled Household Light Bulbs will be applied, the Ministry of Economy said.

This means that Montenegro, whose GDP is significantly below the European average, is relatively cheaper compared to the EU, except for clothing prices, which are 102 percent of the EU average. Clothing in Montenegro is the most expensive in the region.
