The talented opera singer who performs in the same line with world-famous stars performed one of the main roles in the opera "Turandot", Liù on August 17th. For the talented Ivana, this is a great success because she sang as the main role at the prestigious opera festival. The director was Alfonso Signorini.

"This year I had the honor, together with Andrea Bocelli, to open and be part of the fantastic Puccini Festival (64th edition) in a magical spot at the lake where Puccini has lived and created his most beautiful opera. This multi-decade tradition that follows the festival, which is named after one of the largest composers in the world, Giacomo Puccini, has given a special significance to my participation in the same and complete project involving more than 100 people. My debut with the role of Liù in the opera Turandot has had a huge success with standing ovations by the public who counted more than three thousand people," Ivana said in a conversation with CdM.

"The overall success at the festival is crowned by the prestigious Puccini & Cupists award for the best performer in 2018, which I have received with pride. Motivated with the past events, among the following projects are included: Milan Scala Competition Leyla Gencer - the 40 best young opera singers from the world in Istanbul from September 23-28; on October 3rd a concert will be held with Andre Bocelli at the Verdi Theater in Pisa. During November and December, two roles have been planned in the new production of the opera "Rigoletto" at the National Theater in Cagliari," adds Ivana.

Last year Ivana had achieved her greatest dream to sing with Andre Bocelli in Rome. She always knew that Andrea was a man with a great heart and a pure soul.
"But now I am convinced and my opinion was confirmed when I met him. Only two things are important to him in life: family, their health, and of course the music he is fully devoted to and lives for. He immediately showed respect and confidence in my voice and singing. We sang for hours and went to the studio with his team of musicians because he wanted to hear my opinion. I was honored. He is an angel with the angelic voice, "said Ivana earlier to CdM.
