As explained on the meeting between the representatives of Tivat Municipality and Porto Montenegro, development plans are the strategic directions in which the municipalities of Tivat and Porto Montenegro share a common interest. Tivat’s representatives are more than happy with the presented results and the benefits that Porto Montenegro has achieved so far in the interest of Tivat. The President of Tivat Municipality, Siniša Kusovac, has expressed high expectations that future development on the land, construction of hotels with accompanying contents, development of business communities, cultural, sports and other contents will furtherly strengthen Tivat.

The results and plans of Porto Montenegro were presented by the director of Adriatic Marinas, David Margason to the representatives of the Municipality of Tivat. As he explains, in the first ten years of the development of Porto Montenegro, they were solely focused on infrastructure and construction of the complex. However, in the past year, project leaders have focused not only on building but also on creating quality content that will attract guests, visitors and large corporate partners to come to Kotor Bay even out of the tourist season. Such content, he added, can give tourists reason to choose Tivat as a city in which they want to spend their time in. The representative of Adriatic Marinas also explained that they are already negotiating with numerous potential partners and investors who want to move their business to Tivat, IT companies and other innovative industries such as contemporary media, fashion, music, sports or production. They want to provide the “luxury that means a fast, high-quality, efficient service tailored to a young, contemporary consumer who is a "citizen of the world", who could find its strengths in small, such as the city of Tivat”.
