Skiing season in Bjelasica continues despite high temperatures, said executive director of “Ski Resort Kolasin 1450”, Anđela Vuković.

Mrs. Vuković told Dnevne Novine daily the ski resort recorded a good visit this weekend and that she hopes the season won’t end at least until the end of next week.

Visitors should know parking is now free for all guests, and that daily ski passes are now only ten euros. This last weekend, all ski lifts except Kljuc were in operation and snow ranged from 30 centimeters at the base up to 150 centimeters at the top of mount Bjelasica.

Mrs. Vukovic said the Resort is very happy with this year’s season, which is the best in the last ten years.

“We had over 60.000 visitors this year, which is record-breaking for us, compared to all previous seasons. The slopes remain in good shape, there is still plenty of snow and we hope the visits continue plentiful for another fabulous weekend”, she said.

On the other hand, skiing season in Zabljak is officially closed due to insufficient interest after almost four months of winter joys. The sad part is that snow on the slopes of Savin Kuk remains abundant. The company running the ski resort, however, says they are happy with this season’s success.
