March 3, 2018 - With a new tourist season almost upon us, an overview of the new flights announced over the winter months to Tivat and Podgorica.

Airline passenger traffic to Montenegro is booming. Both Podgorica and Tivat have seen an explosion of activity in recent years, and both airports handled over a million passengers in 2017, triple the amount of just a decade ago.

Montenegro is now connected to the world as never before and the arrival of direct Dubai flights and the regular flights to Belgrade and the Air Serbia global network has made Montenegro accessible to the world, 12 months a year.

And, if the raft of new flight announcements is anything to go by, 2018 is going to be even busier.

So who flies to Montenegro? A simple question, which is not so easy to answer. Finding online information is quite challenging at the moment, and one of the aims of TMN will be to improve the availability of the information.

Porto Montenegro has an excellent summary of flights to Tivat for 2017, which you can check out here

A little research shows that there have been a number of flight announcement for the 2018 season this winter.
