Nikola Vučević Will Not Play Against Belarus and Slovenia

Nikola Vučević will not play for the Montenegro basketball team in the last two matches of the first qualifying round for the World Cup against Belarus and Slovenia.

June 7, 2018 - "I spoke with coach Zvezdan Mitrović and told him that I am not able to help the team in the matches against Belarus and Slovenia. I am have not done a training session since the end of the season, and I did not do any team training. This is my last year on contract in Orlando and I want to get ready for the next season, to be healthy for all the obligations that are expected of me," Vučević told "Vijesti".

On June 28th, Montenegro welcomes Belarus and three days later, they will travel to Slovenia.

By winning the first game, they would advance to the second round.

After four rounds in Group A, Spain has the highest score, Slovenia is in second, and Montenegro and Belarus each have one win and three defeats.
