TO Director Pavle Obradović said that the budget for the event is 10,000 euro, and part of the funds will be provided by the Municipality of Herceg Novi and representatives of the tourism industry.

The event "Days of Russian Culture in Herceg Novi" begins this weekend and lasts until April 14th, announced the representatives of the City Tourism Organization, which is the organizer of the program, reports Vijesti on April 6, 2018.

Guests from Russia will be presented with a program designed to gather Russian citizens and popularize Russian culture, spirituality, tradition and art.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for April 7th at the Gallery "Josip Bepo Benković" where an exhibition of photographs titled "Meeting Russian Emperor", dedicated to the death of the Romanovs, will be displayed. Visitors will be able to see 50 photos presented as four whole stories. The manifestation will be opened by the Metropolitan of Montenegro's Serbian Orthodox church Amphilohije.

In the eight days of the manifestation, there will be theatre, dance and film performances, literary programs, exhibitions, poetic evenings titled "Poets of Montenegro in the glory of the golden age of Russian poetry" and sports competitions.

A particular segment will be a spiritual program that, in addition to the resurrection liturgies, envisages a great Saturday baptismal charity in the sea.

TO Director Pavle Obradović said that the budget for the event is 10,000 euro, and part of the funds will be provided by the Municipality of Herceg Novi and representatives of the tourism industry.

Obradović rejected the allegations that the manifestation is organized as part of the pre-election campaign for the election of the President of Montenegro.

"It is absurd and fundamentally impossible to connect these two events," said Zoran Lazarević in front of the Topalja church municipality, who is co-organizing the event.
