This location has been chosen as the best alternative for Jaz beach, after many discussions between the local administration in Budva and the organizer of Exit festival for months.
The president of the Budva municipality, Dragan Krapovic, did not want to either confirm or deny this information.
He said that the local administration would soon inform the public about all the details related to this music manifestation.
“I cannot say anything related to this matter. During the next few days we will organize a press conference to publish all the details about the future location of the Sea dance festival," said Krapovic.
Then, as he said, the precise date of the festival will also be known.
Krapovic announced earlier that Sea Dance would take place at the end of August or beginning of September instead of mid-July.
The Sea Dance festival was held on Jaz beach thus far, but due to unsolved title issues with the owners of the land, organizers and local administration decided to change its location.
In December 2015, the president of the municipality at the time, Srdja Popovic, and director of the Exit festival, Dusan Kovacevic, signed an agreement on long-term collaboration for organizing Sea Dance festival until 2026.
By this contract, it is defined that the investments in the festival for the next ten years will be at least 10.000.000 euro, related to the program and production.
According to the same document, the municipality of Budva will invest 300.000 euro every year, and the tourist organization of Budva and National Tourist organization will contribute 100.000 euro each.
However, last year the Government sustained this music manifestation with 200.000 euro because the local administration paid significantly less money than predicted due to the poor economic situation.
