For the first time, Montenegro will host the international EUROVIDEO Short Film Festival at the "Budo Tomović" KIC from March 15 to 17, organized by the Center for Multimedia Production (CEZAM) and the heart of the city's culture.

The films will be screened at the Multimedia Hall of the KIC starting at 8 pm, reports CdM on March 14, 2018.

EUROVIDEO is a Belgian film festival of a competitive character, featuring short form films up to 10 minutes of different themes and genres in several European countries. Beside founder countries (Belgium, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy), movie projections will be held in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From the several Montenegrin films who applied for the festival, in the official selection, only "Lumpen" by the young director Nikola Vučinić will be shown at this year's festival.

EUROVIDEO awards three prizes: Grand Prix (2.500e), Award for technical and aesthetic innovations (1.250e) and Audience Award (1.750e). Voting will be organized according to the Eurovision principle, and each state will vote equally. Also, the audience in attendance will also vote.

Entrance is free of charge.
