November 14, 2019 - The Perast International Klapa Festival will announce the competition for the selection of the 25 best Perast photographs on December 1, which will be open until February 1 next year.
According to the organization, the city, islands, details, panoramas, and more can be staffed.
Photos can be in color, black and white, from all perspectives, published (solely for non-commercial purposes) or unpublished, taken analogously, or digitally after January 1, 2016, in JPEG format of at least 1 MB in size not exceeding 10 MB.
Photos can be slightly edited in terms of cutouts, contrasts, color filters, and other photo effects. Excessively processed photos will not be the subject of the competition (expert jury rating). Photos must be free of text, titles, watermarks, and author signatures.
Already purchased photos released for commercial purposes will not be considered, said the organization. Photos posted on social networks are not subject to this restriction.
The Perast International Klapa Festival will receive all the photos by January 31, 2020, and submit to the Expert Jury (5 members) for selection. The jury will make its selection by March 1, 2020. The list of selected photos (under the code) will be published on the Festival website and social networks and photo groups - Boka Kotorska fans in April 2020.
The Perast International Klapa Festival will prepare the selected photographs for the exhibition "I LOVE PERAST" in a consistent form (30x40 cm, framed, framed, signed by the author). The show will be held at the Museum of the City of Perast on June 24-30, 2020, as a part of the XIX Perast International Klapa Festival 2020.
The jury will select the three best photos. The organiser will award the authors of the best photographs a cash prize of 150, 100, and 50 Euros at the opening of the exhibition on June 24, 2020, at noon.
