November 12, 2019 - New Year's Eve 2020 programs in Montenegrin cities were presented today in Podgorica at the press conference organized by the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro.
Representatives of local tourist organizations in Podgorica, Bar, Budva, Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi presented multi-day entertainment programs and concerts by renowned performers from the region, which will be organized on city squares during the New Year holidays.
"The organization of New Year's Eve is something by which Montenegro is already recognized as a leader in the region, and the New Year's program is, therefore, an essential segment of our winter tourist offer. We have an ever-expanding offer of the leading local and regional music stars performing in city squares along the coast and the capital, as well as in hotels across the country. There are also extras such as Christmas bazaars, ice skating rinks, animation, and performances for the youngest to complement the holiday offer," they pointed out in a press release.
In addition to the coast and the capital, Montenegrin mountain centers are a particularly attractive destination for New Year's holidays, which also marks the beginning of the winter tourist season. Hoteliers in Kolasin and Zabljak have prepared New Year's package arrangements with a music entertainment program, and the opening of the ski resorts awaits us in mid-December.
The director of the Ski Resorts of Montenegro Milos Popovic pointed out that during this season, there will be seven ski centers operating: Kolasin 1450, Kolasin 1600, Savin Kuk, Javorovaca, Vucje, Lokve, and Turjak. He announced the opening of the Kolašin 1600 Ski Center on December 14, an entertainment program that awaits visitors during this winter season, as well as plans for the coming period.
"We expect to keep the image of the destination of the best holiday in the region with a record visit of local guests from the area, as well as from other European countries, to complete this successful tourist year and start a new one."

New Year's program in Bar:
The opening of the ice rink is scheduled for December 20 at 1 pm and will be working the whole month. It will be free of charge as in the previous year. This year, the youngest will also have the opportunity to take a ride on the popular tourist car "Ćiro," which will operate from December 30 to January 01 from 10 am to 2 pm, with the starting and ending station at the beginning of the promenade of King Nikola.

New Year's program in Tivat:
"Tivat WINTER FAIRY 2020" begins on November 25 with the opening of the ice rink with a concert by Natasa Bekvalac and the Fog Band. In addition to the ice rink, where the citizens and guests will be able to enjoy the next month, Riva Pine will also adorn the ornate gastro cottages of Tivat caterers, which will welcome guests until the end of the New Year's program on January 03. The program includes a Christmas fair, a charity bazaar, concerts, daily programs organized by tenants of gastro cottages. Children will enjoy a full day of fun for the youngsters at the "Magic Forest," an ice show, a traditional Leontina concert with guests, and the opportunity to enjoy the performances of Tivat kids.
