Days of European Film 2018 to Start in Kotor on Monday

September 28, 2018 - During October, Kotor's Cinema Boka will screen numerous movies from different European countries, being one of 11 Montenegrin cities where the "Days of European Film 2018" is organized. 

The European Union Delegation, with the support of the embassies of the EU Member States, the EU Info Center and the Montenegrin Cinematheque, organizes the “Days of European Film 2018", within which the Montenegrin audience can watch films from different European productions in 11 cities. In the Boka Cinema in Kotor, the films will be screened from October 1 to 31. All screenings start at 8 pm and the entrance is free.

The audience will be able to enjoy various genres, from drama, black humor, horror, children’s movies, mysteries and romantic comedies. The presentation was made possible by the embassies of the EU Member States, including Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Croatia, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Latvia, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and the Montenegrin Cinematheque.

The Days of European Film in Kotor begins on Monday, 1 October with the screening of the movie "Boy on the Bridge" (Cyprus), in which the twentieth-century Socrates finds himself in the midst of a murder investigation that will forever change his life and the life of his family. The audience in Kotor will then have the opportunity to enjoy Slovenian film "Slovenia, Australia and the whole world", the Greek film "God Loves Caviar", "Dream Team" (Latvia), "Anniversary" (Romania), "Living pictures" (Estonia), "Fish Lili" (Bulgaria), "ZG 80" (Croatia), "Tonio" (Netherlands), "My Mom and Other Lunatics in the Family" (Hungary).

The last three days of October are reserved for the Czech comedy "Snake Brothers", the Swedish drama "Young Sofie Bell" and the Slovak film "All or Nothing".
