June 18, 2018 - The play "Peace Mission", directed by Slobodan Marunović, will be performed on Tuesday, June 19 at the Great Hall of the Bijelo Polje Cultural Center, starting at 8 pm. The performance was created according to the text from Jovana Bojović and produced by the Bjelopolje Theater. The music for the play was done by Slobodan Kovačević, the scenic movement was designed by Ana Halas, and costumes and scenery by Milivoje Mićo Kovačević. The actors who take part in the play are Sanjin Hajdaragić, Predrag Vukojević, Sanja Ćirović, Deniza Halilović, Derviš Hadžikić and Damir Crnovršanin.
Slobodan Marunović, born on July 4, 1957, in Mojkovac, Montenegro, is an actor of the Montenegrin National Theater. He finished elementary school and high school in Danilovgrad and studied Serbian-Croatian language and literature at Nikšić and Belgrade. In his career, he had a number of roles in theater, film, and television. He performed at various stages around the world and participated in various performances at many domestic and international festivals throughout the region and the world: Sterijino pozorje in Novi Sad, MES in Sarajevo, Edžponto in Ljubljana, Dani Gavela in Zagreb, Golden Knight in Moscow, Monodrama Festival and pantomime in Zemun, the World Festival of the ETS-WEST Theater in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, etc.
The performance "Peace Mission" has already been declared the best performance at the 48th Drama Amateur Festival of Montenegro. The actors of the play, except for winning the first place for the show, have also won the prize for the best male role (Sanjin Hajdaragić), the best female episode (Sanja Ćirović), the best male episode (Predrag Vukojević), and best acting technique (Derviš Hadžikić).
The ticket price for the show is 2 EUR. Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Center's ticket office on the 18th and 19th of June from 11 am to 1 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm.
