The tourism board of Bar has allocated 60,000 euro for projects in archaeological research, conservation and restoration works, reconstruction and promotion of cultural assets of the district

The amount corresponds to 10 percent of income from the sojourn tax for 2016.

The project named “Cultural map, brochure, charts for maps” by the Mas Trejd company received 10,950 euro, the Cultural Center for the Restoration and Reconstruction of Saint Catherine Church received 10,000 euro, the Croatian Culture Society was awarded 3,000 euro for a 3D map of Old Bar, while the NGO Center for Geopolitics Bar received 8,000 euro. The Olive Growers Society NGO was allocated 4,000 euro for the reconstruction of the old bridge Suvi Potok, the 3D Arch NGO will have 6,000 euro to promote Old Bar in 3D, while the Bar Culture Center will make use of 9,000 euro for the book 30 Years of Bar Yearbook. The Mediterranean Photography Center received 3,000 euro for the Dry Stone Walls project, with the same amount going to NGO Bubulj for tourism-cultural videos and NGO Mediterranean Photography Center for the Traditional Cuisine brochure.

The choice of projects funded by the tourism board was made by a commission presided by Anastazija Miranović, with Svetlana Gažević and Ilija Stojović as members.
