September 11, 2018 - A member of the Council of Montenegrin Radio Television Milan Radovic has called for speeding up the tender for applications for the general director of this media company. After Andrijana Kadija was dismissed in early June this year, acting Director General Božidar Šundić may stay for half a year in this position by law. During that period, a new general director should be elected.

"I asked to speed up the launch of the competition for the general manager and to consider the program-production plan if there are changes in the programming scheme, and it is evident that there are," Radović said. The Public Service Council meeting, where these points may be on the agenda, has not yet been scheduled, and on 28th August, Public Service Management announced that it had prepared a proposal for amendments to the Programming and Production Plan. They reported after the NGO Media Center called on the members of the RTCG Council to initiate the dismissal process for Bozidar Šundić for violating the RTCG Act, or after "Vijesti" confirmed from the Public Service that the contract for broadcasting the show "Živa istina" is in process.

The co-production contest lasts until September 18th. Šuković's interview will most likely replace the broadcast of the same genre show - "From the Right Corner". It was abolished by the arrival of the new editorial team at RTCG. The public service is due to the shifts of Kadija and her associates faced with a large number of lawsuits. In addition to former RTCG director who filed a lawsuit against the Basic Court for an illegal shift, the former director of TV Vladan Mićunović, former editor of TV CG Aleksandar Mirković, and also the former head of the panel, Damir Ramovic, submitted the same complaint. Ramovic and several other colleagues, including the former editor of the "Replica" Ratka Pavlović, have been transferred to Portal RTCG. Ramovic filed a lawsuit because he was transferred to a worse position, which, as stated in the lawsuit, is not in accordance with the Labor Law. Kadija was transferred to the RTCG administrative department after the shift, though she was a journalist and editor before the position of the general manager, while Mićunović was the adviser to the director. Aleksandar Mirković is the head of the correspondent in the Public service. After the political game between the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Assembly, the composition of the members of the RTCG Council was changed. The new majority, favored by DPS, has dismissed Kadija and the whole editorial team that has tried to ensure that the Public Service reports on issues that are in the public domain and not in the government's interest.
