23 July 2018 - It is of great importance for Montenegro to engage in European Union project management procedures funded by the European Commission. In this regard, the main focus of activities should be PRAG procedures on the one hand, while on the other hand, Montenegro needs to raise capacities regarding how to store and archive documentation related to projects.

The Practical Guide (PRAG) explains the contracting procedures applying to all EU external actions financed from the EU general budget (the EU budget) and the European Development Fund. This Practical Guide provides users with the comprehensive information necessary to undertake procurement or grant procedures from the very first steps to the award, signature and implementation of contracts.

In relation to the aforementioned, the NGOs with chosen programs under the Program of mentoring and financial support of new members of the Youth Banks Hub for Western Balkans and Turkey participated in training on rules, procedures and financial management of projects in order to achieve their successful implementation.
