Free Transport to "Luštica Bay Fall Colors Fair" this Saturday

October 25, 2018 - Luštica Bay is organizing a multimedia event this Saturday dedicated to the rich fall colors of Luštica peninsula, but also to local gastronomy, organic food production, art, and science. As the company marketing team says, the large interest for the event made them decide to provide free transport from Kotor and Tivat.

The festival dedicated to autumn "Luštica Bay Fall Colors Fair", which will be held on Saturday, October 27 at the Marina in Luštica Bay, will start at 11 am and last until 10.30 pm with a rich program involving the painting colony of students of Tivat schools, delicacies and products, performances of folklore, blues concert and literary promotion. The organizer, Luštica Development, will also provide bus services from Tivat and Kotor.

"Due to the great interest in the event, we will organize free transport for visitors from Tivat and Kotor twice a day. So the bus from Tivat will start at 10h and 18h. The return from Luštica Bay is scheduled at 15h and 22.30h. The same hourly rate also applies for arrivals from Kotor, and the departure location is in front of the Employment Office building. We expect the event to be interesting to many and a beautiful opportunity for a pleasant day in the Mediterranean setting in Luštica Bay," said Slavica Milić from the Luštica Development Marketing Team.

On the "Fall Table", a whole day exhibit of local delicacies from producers of Agro Cluster Nikišić, will be offered including vegetables from organic production and outdoor growing, homemade prosciutto, cheese, wine, strawberries, pies, and other delicates. According to Đorđe Bulajić, founder of the cluster, the ethno household "Đedovina" from Grahovo, the Dabović winery, Miljanić from Nikšić but also a one-day excursion tour from Boka Bay to beehive producers will be presented.

The event will start at 11h with the promotion of the book "Rural Tourism in Montenegro: Marketing of the Developmental Detection" by Dr. Ilija Moric. The Moric family is one of the entrepreneurial visionaries at the Luštica peninsula and among the first ones that have put a long family heritage into function. The Moric family deals with olive growing, designing products with a local seal and the development of other branches of agriculture.

Students from elementary schools Branko Brinić and Drago Milović and the High School Centre "Mladost", within the colony of "Nines of autumn", from noon to 15h will paint the motifs of fall of Luštica Bay. Their works will be presented at the exhibition on November 21, Tivat Municipality Day. The folk dance performance of the children from the Cultural Center "Kadena" starts at 15:30h and the concert "Blues on the Promenade" of the Kotor’s group "Light Under the Black Mountain" starts at 20h. Pumpkin pie for all visitors will be prepared at 15h and 19h.
