September 27, 2018 - Last season he had a running time in the Barcelona junior team, he won the Junior Champions League with one of his performances in the competition and is now the first goalkeeper of the second team of Barcelona B, one of the biggest clubs on the planet.

In short, this is goalkeeper Lazar Carević!

The talented 19-year-old guardian of the goal has been nominated for the Catalan giant's development team, and a source close to the champion of Spain's "Mundo Deportivo" writes that coach Garcia Pimienta made the right move when our young national player was put on a grid. Two matches, one win, one tie, no goal received! Coaches and leaders of Barcelona are obviously happy with the gifted Montenegrin.

"Lazar Carevic is here to stay," says the title of "Mundo Deportivo" in which the journalist Fenar Martinez, among other things, writes: "Lazar begins his second season in Barcelona, he is 193 centimeters tall, dominant in the air, with top reflexes. However, he has to fix his game with his leg which is the characteristic of all Barcelona goalkeepers. He arrived at Barcelona, despite the fact that he was called by Bayern, Manchester City and Ajax. He rejected all offers because of Barcelona, and the club counted on him and told him that his time is yet to come." And the player who started in Grbalj and who made to the great Catalan champion team last summer is aware of what must be better in his game.

"In the younger categories of Barcelona, just like in the first team, they insist on a passing game and everything starts from the goalkeeper. I was raised to play by foot at a high level but of course, it could be much better. However, I'm going step by step," said 19-year-old Carević, after winning the junior champion's league with his friends in April.

"Ever since I was a little boy, I wanted to play for Barcelona. My main goal is to play for the first team. I realize that it is difficult to reach that unit in Barcelona, but I believe in myself, and the people in the club are pleased with me. Everything is going in the right direction. I hope I will make my dream come true one day and become Barcelona's first goalkeeper," said the talented goalkeeper four months ago.
