The Montenegrin Junior Basketball team lost 70:68 to Great Britain and took the eighth place at the European Championship.

The "Reds" were in the lead for 35 minutes, they had a ten-point advantage in the last quarter but the British turned over the score in the finish, thanks to good defense but also an extremely weak and confusing game in Montenegro's attack.

With one minute and 30 seconds until the end, the score was 68:66 for Britain, Novak Obradovic tied with 14 seconds to go, and Džejkob Raund scored for 70:68.

Jovan Kljajic failed to finish the last attack...

Obradovic was the best for Montenegro with 17 points and 11 rebounds, 16 scored by Kljajic and ten by Igor Drobnjak.

Nathan Robinson was the most effective match player with 19 points.

Montenegro lost to Great Britain in the group stage 87:78.

Boška Radovic's team also lost to Lithuania and Serbia in the group, giving them a great advantage in the finish.
