September 21, 2018 - The President of the Tivat Municipality, Dr. Siniša Kusovac, and Managing Director of Adriatic Marinas, David Margason, signed a contract about the methods for fulfilling part of their mutual obligations on the basis of compensation for utility equipment of construction land and the settlement of mutual claims in the amount of 5.6 million euros.

The obligation of the Municipality of Tivat to accept the investments of Adriatic Marinas in preparation for utility equipment, as well as the equipment itself, has been regulated by the Law on Planning and Construction of Facilities, and it is in agreement with the Purchase Agreement of the Remedial Institution "Sava Kovačević" signed by the Government of Montenegro and Adriatic Marinas. Investments are determined by the findings of the authorized expert witness and on the basis of valid documentation.

The contract signing is a logical sequence of moves after adopting the findings of the Joint Working Group on the settlement of obligations based on the utility fees and findings of independent experts and adopting the Municipal Assembly.
