September 12, 2020 - The laboratories of the Institute of Public Health have completed PCR analysis of 681 samples for the new coronavirus since the last section. One hundred forty-five (145) new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered from the following municipalities: Berane 33, Nikšić 29, Podgorica 23, Rožaje 15, Bijelo Polje 9, Pljevlja 7, Tivat 7, Cetinje 5, Budva 5, Plav 4, Mojkovac 2, Ulcinj 2, Kotor 1, Herceg Novi 1, Danilovgrad 1, Kolasin 1.
 
Since the last section, three deaths have been reported in COVID-19 patients treated at the General Hospital in Nikšić (1) and the Clinical Center of Montenegro (2). The total number of deaths related to COVID-19 infection since the beginning of June is 109. Since the beginning of the first wave of the epidemic in mid-March,118.
 
Recovery has been reported in 31 patients.
 
The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Montenegro is currently 1921.
 
Since the beginning of the year, the total number of registered coronavirus infections is 6530.
