14 October 2018 - The University of Montenegro hosts around 50 international students who came to Montenegro thanks to mobility scheme programs CEEPUS, Mevlana and Erasmus +. Their number is the same for the academic year 2017/2018 and most come from Poland, Portugal and Romania, the representatives of the University told Pobjeda.

“The Erasmus+ program will bring 9 students in this semester,” the representatives of the University reported.

The EU programme for education, training, youth and sport, the Erasmus+ programme, allows students from partner EU countries to study at the University of Montenegro and they can spend 3 to 12 months doing part of their degrees in Montenegro. The Mevlana programme, they added, encourages the exchange between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries. On the other hand, the member states of the CEEPUS programme are Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, the Kosovo University, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.

“Foreign students are mostly interested in the Faculty of Economy, the Faculty of Philology, the Art Academy and the Faculty of Political Sciences,” the representatives of the University of Montenegro said.
