29 September 2018 - The Montenegrin Armed Forces have undergone the combat readiness evaluation process, observed by the two representatives from the NATO Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) in Izmir, Turkey, and have proved a high level of combat readiness, as noted by the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro in an interview with Pobjeda.

The Ministry also said that from 17-21 September 2018, two infantry forces, the NHBO Division and the Demining Team of the Armed Forces of Montenegro were evaluated during the “Decisive Action 18” exercise, as well as the Military Police Department of the Military Police Forces.

“‘Decisive Action 18’ is an independent exercise organized in accordance with the NATO directive referring to training, and it enables assessment of the level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Montenegro which can contribute to NATO,” explained representatives of the Ministry of Defence.

The exercise makes a part of the combat readiness final evaluation in compliance with NATO criteria (Combat Readiness Evaluation – CREVAL).
