23 September 2018 - The capital of Montenegro, which continuously develops into a modern state and urban centre of this part of Europe, requires large and recognizable programs, festivals and events that will adequately affirm the cultural values of its citizens. The Podgorica Art Festival (PAF) aims to affirm young artists who will valorise domestic creativity and promote the cultural events in the Capital city. The festival provides an opportunity for all citizens of Podgorica, as well as tourists, to enjoy a unique and dynamic festival ambience as well as street art. The event itself is modelled on European metropolises.

Podgorica Art Festival - PAF 2018 started its program on September 20th and lasts until September 23rd. The organizers of the festival are the Center for Youth Affirmation and the company "BRCA" - organization that continuously gives support to all aspects of cultural persecution of the young, affirmed but also “unknown” Montenegrin artists.

In the framework of the film program at this year's PAF, the documentary "Tierra Utopia" (2018, Serbia), directed by Jelena Stolica, was shown on the first day of the festival. The film program was held in Bokeška Street, on the sidewalk near the Montenegrin National Theater.
