Successful Montenegrin Musician Granted Support With "Guitar in Hand and Travel the World 2018" Project Copyrights: Culture Center "Nikola Đurković"

04 September 2018 - Culture Centre "Nikola Đurković" implemented the project "Guitar in Hand and Travel the World 2018" co-financed by the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro under the Decision on the co-financing of programs and projects of importance for providing public interest in the field of cultural and artistic creativity (music and musical and theatrical activity) in 2018, reports the Culture Centre Kotor.

The activities of this project, as they say, include the co-financing of the participation of talented musician Nađa Janković in recognized contests and at various educational camps, workshops, education, and seminars held in Germany during the first half of this year.

GuitarinHand

The first festival and contest in which Nađa Janković participated within the implementation of this project was in Stuttgart at the international prestigious competition "X Rago International Competition", which was held from 8 to 15 February 2018. Then, on March 27, 2018, she held a solo concert in the German region of Saarland, in the festival "Gitarrentage fur kinder und jugendliche im Saarland". The third performance of the talented musician within the realization of this project was at the festival in Trossingen, Germany, which took place from April 19 - 22, 2018. After that, she had an appearance at one of the most important European and world classical guitar festivals in Monheim am Rhein from May 30 to June 2, 2018.

“The aim of this project was to support our talented fellow citizen in the development and progress of her future career as a professional musician,” states the report of the Culture Center "Nikola Đurković".
