Three new hiking trails have been completed, from the center of Kolasin to Bašanjeg hill, Bakovic cliff and across Bašenjeg hill to Kukunovac. The layout of the track was part of the public works project, which was sponsored by the local Tourism Organization (TO), in cooperation with "Friends of Kolasin" and NGO "Natura".

"The trails are intended for recreation and families with children, are not too physically demanding and will certainly complement the tourist offer of the city. The promotional material will be delivered to all registered lessors of apartments in the city.  Currently, there is the final phase of the project – setting up information boards along the hiking trails," said TO Director Aleksandar Vlahovic. The total length of new hiking trail is approximately 21 kilometers.

The longest is to Kukunovac, which passes next to the historic site Barutana and climbs to 369 meters.

The time needed for this pedestrian tour is about three hours.

The other two tracks are shorter and with a lighter climb and the hike lasts for one to two hours.

Vlahovic announces that he is working on the preparation of the mountain biking trail, which will also start in the center of the city.

Thus, Vlahovic said, it will be available to a large number of tourists.
