12 October 2018 - On Tuesday, October 16th at 7 pm, thePublic Library of Budva will host a book promotion by the author Marija Perović, named "Conversations about Film".

Aside from the author, Vuk Vuković, a professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, and Sanja Jovanović, a member of the Council of the Centre for Contemporary Art of Montenegro and Professor at the Faculty of Visual Arts at the Mediteran University, will also address the audience during the presentation of the book.

The book "Conversations about Film" was created as a result of a series of television shows, which Marija Perović created over a decade ago, which had the concept of “film” as their main subject. The aforementioned TV shows were broadcasted on Montenegrin and regional television stations. The content of the shows Marija Perović hosting and talking with numerous directors and actors, the most important names of regional cinema.

Marija Perović is a Montenegrin film director, born on December 15, 1972, in Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia. She graduated at the Faculty of Drama Arts of Belgrade. She is the first women director for film and TV in the history of Montenegro. Perović is also a producer and scriptwriter, known for Packing the Monkeys Again (Opet pakujemo majmune ) and Look At Me (Gledaj Me). Marija is a professor of Film and TV directing at Faculty of Drama Arts in Montenegro.
