June 12, 2018 - Montenegro found itself on the pages of the prestigious Dove Viaggi magazine dedicated to travel and lifestyle, which is primarily designed for high-class readers and travelers.

Journalist Francesca Massoti wrote about the natural wealth of Montenegro, its path to development path, and its population who, despite the cultural differences, has survived for centuries.

"Welcome to Montenegro, a land of fishermen and sailors, with the seize of Trentino-Alto Adige (the province in Italy), which boasts four UNESCO sites and 5 national parks. A well-connected destination with Italy, with the euro currency, a candidate for entering into the European Union; and in order to enter this country, it is enough to bring your ID card," Massoti writes.

As quoted by the National Tourist Organization of Montenegro, in its text, she also mentioned the Southern Soul Festival, one of the best in Europe, which is held at the end of June on the 12 kilometers long Ulcinj beach. When writing about Velika plaza, Massoti says there are two specifics that characterize Montenegro: the beach and the outdoor activities.

"From here, you can go on the coast via the E851 between the Dinaric Alps (the largest mountain range in the Balkans) and the sea, passing the peninsula St. Stefan, which once was a medieval village and today is a modern settlement in Budva. This road continues to the Boka Bay. The parts of the bay are associated with each other, and it seems they are found in the glacial fjord, with the Mediterranean vegetation of mimosas, laurels, and palms. The town of Kotor is a small jewel: fountains, Venetian walls, restaurants, and above the town is the San Giovanni fortress," says Massoti.

She invites readers to try this tour for which, she says, they need to be fit, but the view of the town, the bay, and the nearby Lovćen Mountain makes it worthwhile.

The NTO said that the visit of journalist Francesca Massotti, who stayed in Montenegro at the initiative of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro last year, and who cooperates with prestigious magazines such as "Dove Viaggi", "Corriere della Sera e viaggi.corriere.it", "Paste Magazine USA", "Islands Viaggi" and others, resulted in the publication of several articles about Montenegro on the Italian market.
