June 8, 2018 - "Taking into the account the most important role of the Public company for the National Parks of Montenegro - the protection and improvement of their natural heritage - the Park Supervisors represent the basis of protecting the area, and the Protection Service is one of its most important organizational structures," said the director of JPNPCG Elvir Klica.
The public company for the national parks of Montenegro plans to contribute to the improving the conditions for work, both for the Park Protection Service and all the Services whose activities are based primarily on nature protection.
"Aware of the wide range of activities, especially if we remind ourselves of last year's numerous actions with extinguishing the fire in NP Lovćen and NP Prokletije, it is very important to provide good conditions for performance, which is often very demanding and complex work and tasks of the Protection Department. At the same time, we'd like to improve their material and technical equipment to make everyday tasks as efficient as possible and to the satisfaction of all users of the area in the Parks," concluded Klica.
NPCG Managers and Chiefs of Defense Services expressed satisfaction with the acquisition of the new terrain vehicles that will contribute to the more efficient implementation of activities defined by the Management Programs and achieve European standards when it comes to physical protection of the space.
