22 October 2018 - The Google Developers Group in Podgorica is organizing a new event, which will be held on November 2nd at 7 pm on the premises of the m: tel Digital Factory! As part of the developer tour, Google is sending software engineer David Airapetyan to present Cloud Firestore. This platform is a scalable database that aims to help and facilitate the work of developers working on the development of web and mobile applications! The event is completely free!
Cloud Firestore is a flexible, scalable database for mobile, web, and server development from Firebase and the Google Cloud Platform. Like Firebase Realtime Database, it keeps user’s data in sync across client apps through realtime listeners and offers offline support for mobile and web so the user can build responsive apps that work regardless of network latency or Internet connectivity. Cloud Firestore also offers seamless integration with other Firebase and Google Cloud Platform products, including Cloud Functions.
Cloud Firestore is part of the Google Firebase platform that provides analytics, messaging, push notifications, hosting for applications and files, and more. The Firebase platform aims to unify all necessary tools for developing modern, fast and secure web and mobile applications.
GDG Podgorica (Google Developers Group) is a non-profit group of developers whose goal is to exchange experiences and spread knowledge about modern web and mobile technologies. Although GDG Podgorica is part of Google's official GDG platform, it is not limited to Google products and technologies only. The group was founded in the summer of 2018 and began organizing various types of events.
