101,5 Million EUR in Taxes Collected in August

September 4, 2018 - During August, the Tax Administration realized a total gross revenue collection of 101,582,567 euros, which is 10.2 million euros (11 percent) above the same period in 2017, or 5.2 million euros (5.5 percent) above the billing plan for August.

"In the structure of collection, the value-added tax value, which during the month of August exceeded EUR 30 million, was 22%, or 6 million EUR, above the realization from August 2017 and 15% or 4 million euro, above the billing plan on this basis, "said the PU.

According to them, the excellent effects of VAT collection are the result of several factors, and in particular, the intensive activities of tax inspection, which continuously monitored the work of taxpayers in an effort to minimize the business of the gray zone. 

"The increase of billing in relation to the plan and the realization from last year was recorded for all other types of income, and in particular the collection of personal income tax payments in the total amount of 14.60.497 euros and the compulsory social security contributions in the amount of 45.93. 201 euros, corporate income tax in the amount of 3.351.492 euros and concession fees in the amount of 3.667.303 euros," saif the PU.
