11 September 2018 - Although the summer season is near its end, the Budva Riviera continues with numerous manifestations that will be realized by the Tourist Organization of Budva by the end of September and during October.
After another traditional "Petrovac Night", the jubilee "Sea Dance" festival, the twelfth edition of the Jazz Festival organized by Petrovac Jazz Fest and the performances of the Italian orchestra "Magna Grecia", the events on the Riviera will continue on September 15.
The Tourist Organization of Budva is announcing the event "Festival on the beach" which will be held in Rafailovići, Budva. This manifestation will start on Saturday, September 15, on one of the most beautiful beaches not only in Budva but also on the Adriatic coast, the Bečići beach. For this occasion, an all-day entertainment program will be organized, which will be especially interesting for the performance of the oldest Budvan music ensemble - Budva City Music.
Known throughout the world for performing traditional Serbian music, the Dejan Petrović Big Band will take over the stage after Budva City Music. Dejan Petrović is famous for his fusion of the sound of traditional instruments and the modern sound, making a special twist with a mix of the sound of the trumpet and distortion on an electric guitar. With each fusion, this musician releases great energy, which is recognised by the audience. He participated in all major domestic music festivals and represented Serbia at various world fairs, sports and cultural events, festivals, always with great success.
The organizers invite all citizens of Budva and tourists to come to the “Festival on the beach” because they guarantee a good time with the entertainment program which will last deep into the night.
The Budva Tourist Organization has made great efforts to ensure that the cultural and entertaining program for guests on the Riviera is also rich in September and October. Namely, Beer Festival "Montenegro Oktoberfest" will be held in Montenegro for the first time this year in Budva, and the organisers also announce “The Day of the Atlantic horse mackerel”, a traditional sports-entertainment event which will be held in October.
