20 August 2018 - The results of the analysis of seawater quality for 100 public beaches, conducted by the Institute of Biology in the period from August 15th to 17th, showed that on 91% of the seawater, the quality of water was K1 class, while 9% of the seawater was K2 class.

In the area of the Ulcinj municipality, the water was of excellent quality - K1 in all locations where the sanitary quality of seawater for bathing and recreation is being monitored. In Bar, out of total of 12 baths, the quality of K1 was at 9 locations, while the quality of the K2 class was at 3 locations.

In the municipality of Budva, the analysis was done in 27 locations, of which one recorded the quality of K2, while in other locations water was K1 class. The quality of seawater K1 was on all 9 bathing sites in the municipality of Tivat.
