31 July, 2018 - The first coastal fitness festival in the open "Bar Can Do It All", hosted by a fitness instructor and personal trainer Tamara Vojvodić, from Bar, who is a former state champion and athletic national representative, will be held this Sunday at Šetalište Kralja Nikole (“King Nikola’s Walkpath”). On Friday night, from 8-10 PM on the "Summer with Stars" scene before the concert of the Tourist Organization Bar, the instructors of the fitness clubs from Bar, Nikšic, Podgorica and Belgrade will take part, as well as members of cross club, sport school, dance school "Habanera" and school of athletics, judo and karate.
"Instructors will change every ten minutes, all tourists and walkers can join and practice with us. I invite all people to come in sports equipment, to socialize, to learn something useful. The exercises will follow tolerable tempo, with breaks, everyone will get their T-shirt, and in the end, there will be rewards. The goal is to follow the instructors from the beginning to the end, we expect a nice sport gathering," as noted by the organizers.
This idea came from the experiences of colleagues from a Nikšić gym, who performed a similar program in their town, and they will be the main guests of the Bar Fitness Festival. Tamara Vojvodić adds that without the support of TO Bar and Director Emil Kukalj, this idea would not be realized, stating that her wish was to for this event to become a traditional festival.
"Our message to the people of Bar and to all Bar's guests is to participate and practice as much as possible and to engage in physical activities on daily basis. We all try to influence the most on the children to start and play sports in order to prevent obesity, and to be an example for them. Town of Bar has a sports spirit, and nobody needs to be hesitant to join us in practice, so that everyone can get the energy that group training provides," concluded Vojvodić.
