Zoran Kastratovic, the former Montenegrin handball team coach, has a new job – he took over the selection of Iran.

Kastratovic will have his debut with the Iranian club at the Asian Games, which will take place in August and September this year.

After winning fifth place in the Asian Championships, the Iranians terminated the collaboration with Slovene Borut Macek and chose the Montenegrin coach to lead them in the upcoming period.

Kastratovic's selection is mainly made by domestic players and several international, who play in the Romanian clubs Dinamo and Steauai, Tunisia and Switzerland.

Kastratovic was Montenegro's selector from 2011 to 2014, and he took the "Lions" to two major competitions - the Spanish Championship in 2013 and the European Championship in Denmark 2014.

In Iran, on the volleyball selection bench, one of the strongest in Asia, is also another Montenegrin coach - Igor Kolakovic.
