13 August 2018 - The municipalities of Herceg Novi and Kotor, in their hinterland, have a rich material legacy of the Austro-Hungarian period, primarily a military character, which requires revitalization and inclusion in modern tourist flows.

During the manifestation "Let's go to Crkvice", representatives of the cities of Herceg Novi and Kotor spoke on this topic with the military attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria from Belgrade, Tomas Ahamer.

The gathering in the Orjen massif, which aims to encourage the development of the hinterland of Bay of Kotor, was attended by the representatives of Herceg Novi's Agency for the Development and Protection of Orjen.

It was agreed that the Agency will forward all documentation to the Embassy, and that a joint meeting will be agreed on this topic. In addition, the possibility of involving Trebinje with which the two coastal cities connected the Austro-Hungarian road via Orjen was also discussed.
