July 22, 2018 - The collectors and distributors from Tuzi, the married couple, Vaid and Nevina Turusković, returned from the recently held International Handmade and Handicrafts Festival in Istanbul with significant recognition for the participation and art of making folk costumes.

Vaid Turusković said that this is one of the biggest festivals of this type in the world, where 62 craftsmen from 22 countries participated this year. The specificity of this festival, as Turuskovic said, is that they had to show the process of producing folk costumes on the spot. When visited by a jury, he was making a Montenegrin vest and his wife a costume from Boka bay:

"... This is not just our success, but the success of the state we represented."

The couple at the festival, where they were the only representatives from our country, presented handicrafts for all the folk costumes that are worn in Montenegro, as well as souvenirs of folk costumes.

"We are in this business for more than 40 years, first as collectors. For the past 20 years, I've been working on a folk costumes replica from all regions and ethnicities in Montenegro...," Turusković said.

Soon, they will have an exhibition at Kuslev's house, where the visitors will have a chance to see very precious exhibits.
