29 September 2018 - The Public Institution “Museums and galleries of Budva” and “Galatea Gallery” from Podgorica have organized an exhibition of paintings by academic painter Đorđe Rašović under the name "Evolution" within the international manifestation "European Heritage Days 2018", which is realized under the slogan "The Art of Sharing".

The exhibition was opened at the "Marko Krstov Gregović" Gallery in Petrovac on September 29 at 8 pm by Vladimir Bulatović, by the Mayor of the Municipality of Budva.

Đorđe Rašović was born on June 5, 1987, in Podgorica. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje in 2010 (Bachelors Degree - BA) and in 2011 (Specialist Degree). He has been a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro (AFAM) since 2010. He has exhibited at numerous joint exhibitions in the country and abroad. He lives and works in Podgorica.

Rašović has had five solo exhibitions: AFAM Art Pavilion Podgorica, Gallery "Klub" of the Centre for Contemporary Art Podgorica, Gallery “Stara zgrada Jugooceanije” Kotor, Gallery of the Summerhouse "Buća" in Tivat and "Marko Krstov Gregović" at Gallery Petrovac.

He also won multiple awards, such as Second Prize at the Cest is d'Best Festival - International Exhibition of Flags Zagreb (Republic of Croatia) in 2017 and the First International Triennial of Self Portrait and Portrait Award of the Memorial Gallery “Dušan Starčević” Smederevska Palanka (Republic of Serbia) in 2018.

The exhibition will take place from September 29 to October 9, 2018.
