The fact Montenegro has achieved its many years of aspirations 140 years ago and officially became the 27th sovereign state, was one of the key factors in restoring Montenegrin statehood. It is thanks to this fact that Montenegro on the cultural map of Europe has its historical foundations, which this event demonstrates with certainty, which is why we are looking forward to this year's review of the significance of the Berlin Congress the text of the "Berlin Treaty", the Act on the ratification of Congolese Countries and photographs related to the holding of congresses and representatives of the great powers, which will remind us of the importance of our state-building tradition and the beginning of our enhanced state sovereignty," added the Minister.

"Days of European Heritage" are being realized within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, celebrated jubilees in order to raise awareness of the importance of the common historical experiences of the peoples of Europe, thereby fostering a sense of belonging to the common European space. The slogan of the European Year of Cultural Heritage - The Art of Sharing - suggests that the history and culture shared by the countries of Europe, including Montenegro, are important elements in the further establishment of cooperation at all levels," Bogdanović said.
