02 October 2018 - At the most significant yacht fair in the world, the "Monaco Yacht Show", which was held in Monaco from September 26 to 29, Montenegro was presented as a yachting and nautical destination with the publication "In Depth". This publication was created by the British company "Superyachts.com", with the support of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.

The publication "In Depth" presents the Montenegrin offer in the field of yachting and nautical tourism in detail, including the most attractive locations on the coast, as well as those in the central and northern parts of the country. In addition to distribution at the Monaco Fair, the publication will be distributed in other yacht and nautical fairs in the coming years, such as the Fair at Fort Lauderdale in Florida, Dubai, Singapore and the charter fair in Antigua. Also, the publication will be forwarded to companies engaged in the issuance, construction and sale of yachts, as well as on yachts, so that the crew and guests can be acquainted with the offer of Montenegro.

The delegation of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, led by State Secretary Damir Davidović, has noted great interest of the fair visitors in Montenegro, including the owners of ships, agents, brokers and representatives of companies offering various services in this field.

In recent years, Montenegro has been positioned at the top of the list of the most desirable destinations for yachting tourism in the Mediterranean, which is the result of large investments in this area of luxury tourism. Alongside the marina Porto Montenegro and Luštica Bay, which are already active, with the completion of the marina in the Portonovi project, Montenegro will have over 800 yacht berths in the Bay of Kotor and the Trašte Bay. It is expected that Montenegro will continue to record constant annual growth in this area of tourism because it includes elite guests who are searching for offers and experiences of unique value. The Montenegrin Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism reached the conclusion that yachting tourism will play a significant role in achieving the positioning of Montenegro as a high-quality all-year tourism destination.
