17 September 2018 - On September 18th, Montenegrin Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulić will open the conference "S3.me - Smart Specialization: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness", which will be held at the Hilton Hotel starting at 9 am.
The conference, which will present the results of the process of entrepreneurial discovery, is organized by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, the Montenegrin Chamber of Economy, the Montenegrin Employers Federation and the Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA).
In addition to Minister Sekulić, during the opening segment of the Conference, the President of Montenegrin Chamber of Economy Vlastimir Golubović will address the audience, followed by Montenegrin Employers Federation President Svetlana Vuksanović and Executive Director of the MBA Zoran Vulević.
Montenegro is currently in the final phase of implementing the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP), in which over 250 representatives from the academic, economic, public and civil sectors took part. Through open dialogue, the process led to the identification of priorities and their synergies based on the strengths and potentials for research, development and innovation with emphasis on practical application and market orientation.
The adoption of the Smart Specialization Strategy will contribute to the development of projects that will be supported by the European Union (EU), with the focus on application of innovations in production processes, transformation of good ideas into products, market success, and better use of research capacities for the benefit of the economy.
