The company Bemax, one of the construction companies operating on the project of the century, has released new footage of the highway construction site.
We remind you that 42 tunnels and 92 bridges and viaducts are planned on this highway. Impressive objects on the route, such as Moračica bridge, Vjeternik tunnel, will be an example of the modern transport infrastructure in the region and beyond. It is enough to mention that for a distance of 41 km, in the length of the route itself from an altitude of 63 meters at Smokovec the highway reaches over 1,100 meters in Mateševo.
The planned speed on this section of the highway is 100 km/h, while the travel time between Podgorica and Kolasin is shortened from the current hour and 30 minutes to 25 minutes.
The capital infrastructure project is worth EUR 809.6 million, of which Exim Bank's credit is about EUR 687 million. The loan is approved for twenty years, with a grace period of six years and an annual interest rate of two percent.
